Introduction

This is my first blog post so I thought I would introduce myself to you. I am a middle aged wife/homemaker who has homeschooled my two children who are now adults. I love to cook, bake, clean and of course read. I am a minimalist who is learning to live simple and slow.  My favorite genres to read are Christian or clean historical romance, mystery, and classics. I love Jane Austen, Lucy Maude Montgomery, Louisa May Alcott and Laura Ingalls Wilder. I loved teaching my childen to read and love the fact that they both are avid readers. I always felt that although my life is pretty simple and uneventful, through books I can have many adventures. I also love decorating with my books and visiting any book shop is a treat my family loves. I hope to do lots of book reviews for you and I hope you enjoy this little blog about books.
